Fantastisk skidåkning under premiäråkningen på våra nya Soul skis Turquoise. Malins spontana uttryck var – Skidorna gör som jag vill. En mer ingående analys på grundvalar av förutsättningarna. Vi såg att flera kört offpist i omgivningarna men bedömde själva att snötäcket i terrängen inte var kompatibel med vår inställning till god skidvård.
Så denna premiär testade vi skidorna i hårdpackad pist i flacka såväl som branta miljöer, därav ett test av skidornas egenskaper i pisten. Skidorna uppvisade en exemplarisk följsamhet, lättakörda i sladdande svängar och riktigt bra carvingegenskaper i stora svängar. Vi testade också kortsvängar och kantegenskaper, blev lyriska över den totala åkkänslan i dessa skidor. Nu vet vi att skidorna är en dröm i pisten och efter lite åkande i kanten där djup snö samlats i högar visade skidorna prov på sin sanna natur vilket väckt både nyfikenhet, glädje och en stor längtan efter dumpande snöfall över Jungfrauområdet.
Prognosen säger snö och mera snö perfekt för att låta förälskelsen övergå i sann kärlek till dessa handgjorda skidor där två själar sammanflätat, hantverkskunnande, experimenterande, testande och visioner för att skapa en skida av världsklass med unika åkegenskaper. En resa som startade i ett garage för att sedan flytta till Sveriges framsida ”Göteborg” där skidfabriken ligger i dag. Vi tackar Kristian och Martin från SOUL skis som levererat 4 par skidor ner till Wengen och med detta möjliggör för våra medlemmar i skibum50plus Exclusive Club att testa skidor på plats och skapa sig en egen bild av åkegenskaperna. Vi axlar rollen som ambassadörer för Soul skis med glädje men också med kritiskt granskande ögon och öppna öron för input för att ytterligare kunna bidra till utvecklingen av dessa svenska skidor, skapade av skidåkare för skidåkare.
Fantastic skiing during the premiere ride on our new Soul skis Turquoise. Malin was spontaneous expression – The skis do what I want. A more detailed analysis of the foundations of the prerequisites. We saw that several did off-pist runs in the surrounding area, but we thought that the snow cover in the terrain was not compatible with our approach to good ski care.
So this premiere, we tested the skis in hard-packed slopes in the flat as well as steep environments, hence a test of skis characteristics of the piste. The skis exhibited an exemplary adherence, facilitate run in skidding turns and really good carving experience in big turns. We also tested the short turns and edge properties, was lyrical over the total feeling of these skis. Now we know that the skis are a dream on the piste and after some occupants of the edge where deep snow gathered in heaps showed the skis test of their true nature, which aroused both curiosity, joy and a great desire for dumped snow across the Jungfrau area.
The forecast says snow and more snow ,perfect for letting the love turn into true love for these handmade skis where two souls intertwined, craftsmanship, experimentation, testing and vision to create a world class ski with unique skiing characteristics. A journey that started in a garage and then move to the front of Sweden ”Gothenburg” where the ski factory is located today. We thank Kristian and Martin from Soul skis that delivered four pairs of skis down to Wengen and with this enables our members in skibum50plus Exclusive Club to test the skis in place and create their own picture of ride quality. We play as ambassadors of the Soul skis with joy but also with critical examination eyes and ears open for input to further contribute to the development of these Swedish skis, created by skiers for skiers.
